Indigenous employment package part of 2017 federal budget.

14-May-2017

The federal budget announced last week by Treasurer Scott Morrison includes a $55.7 million, five year indigenous employment package. The funding will form part of the Federal Governments' efforts to meet their "Close the Gap Employment Targets" and will go towards pre-employment training and mentoring for under 21's, and assistance for indigenous prisoners to boost their employment prospects after release.
