SEEK data shows job ads are up 6.6 per cent— and where the most jobs are across Australia


The latest data from SEEK reveals 6.6 per cent more new job ads listed on the website this year compared to 2016, with every state and territory recording growth. South Australia leads the pack with 18.4 per cent more job ads year-on-year, followed by Western Australia with 12.7 per cent. It is fuelled by trades and services roles (up 34 per cent year-on-year), manufacturing, transport and logistics (up 7 per cent) and healthcare and medical (up 4 per cent).
